1. Information We Collect

When you use RedditFeed.app, we collect:

• Account information: Email address provided through Clerk authentication
• Preferences: Your subreddit subscriptions, read/unread status, and saved posts
• Usage data: Subscription plan and newsletter preferences

We do not collect passwords directly. Authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service (your unified Reddit feed)
• Track which posts you have read to show unread counts
• Store your saved posts for later access
• Send AI-curated newsletter digests (when enabled by the user)
• Generate aggregate usage statistics for service improvement

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a SQLite-based database hosted on Cloudflare's global network. The application is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Data is stored and processed in accordance with Cloudflare's security and privacy standards.

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies required for the Service to function:

• __session: Clerk authentication session cookie
• theme: Your light/dark mode preference (stored in localStorage)

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, session duration). Google Analytics may set its own cookies. We do not use any other third-party tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services:

• Clerk — Authentication and user management
• Stripe — Payment processing for paid plans
• Cloudflare — Hosting, database, and infrastructure
• Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics (page views, session duration)
• Reddit — Public post data via their API (we do not access your Reddit account)

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Reddit Data

We fetch publicly available posts from Reddit's API. We do not require or store your Reddit login credentials. The content displayed through the Service is public Reddit data that anyone can access.

7. Data Retention

• Reddit posts: Automatically deleted after 7 days unless saved by a user
• Saved posts: Retained as long as the user keeps them saved
• User accounts: Retained while your account is active
• Read status: Retained while your account is active

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Update your account information through the Settings page
• Opt out of newsletter communications at any time

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
